Our Experience So Far with T-Mobile...

I was busy reading this article on T-Mobile website.
https://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news-and-blogs/customer-satisfaction-network-speed.htm

I am not satisfied. If I said that I am lying. LOL! I am very satisfied with, The Sales Representative, The over all customer service and support that was only needed once.  Why not include the speed, reliable service, and content service reliability and speeds. From me being from "The Other Carrier," I have to say the same Android Phone as I had with the Other Guy, I noticed better quality phone with less bloatware. As an IT, I am very very very much in need of a phone and data speeds that can keep up with my business needs. I am here saying the good choice is switching to the "Un-Carrier," like I did. If it was 2 or 3 years ago, I would question my idea of switching, as cheaper and the claim we all had heard better, isn't always greener on that side. I sometimes rush the change and I am easily prosuaded. I am not regretting my switch. I am not looking back , but "The Other Carrier" is looking to prosuaded you in staying with them for the big money grab. I am an IT and owner of A Best PCS and we are 100% satisfied with T-Mobile from the in store experience,  to the network, to customer service and sales, and over all experience.

An Update to Our New Website Design!

At A Best PC'S we strive at providing you with the best computer and laptop repair services possible. This is why we changed our website layout to match our mobile site. I Andrew Ditch and will be updating the website for a responsive website whether you are on a mobile device or desktop. So here is the road map for our website and design in a 3 stage deployment...

Stage One

Stage one is what you see at www.abestpcs.com it's simple, yet not 100 percent complete. It has some missing pages within the products pages. It has a messy yet complex content. Yet it offers some new features such as a new contact form and over all new contact us page.

Stage Two

Stage two is our current beta site at beta.abestpcs.com and is currently being developed with new rich content and features. Here we messed with yet another banner and will be developing our full featured website to be deployed in about 2 to 4 weeks from the post date. It may be sooner but don't count your hopes too high. We are taking our time with setting up the pages with all new content. The biggest change here is going to be the new store  front and custom built computer quote pages. This is being reconstructed with all new text and graphics. This should be updated as each page is developed and be fully online by mid-September 2016.

Stage Three

The thitd and final stage is yet again another beta page that will not be published publicly. This is yet again going to be retooled mainly with another banner, new logo, and new navigation menu. This time we are going to over hull the entire look and feel of our new website, including the home page, services page, contact page, just to name a few. The text on the products page and store page should be pretty much set the way we like it but we may tweak yet again our graphics and layout of the text. This site, has absolutely no time table on development or deployment, but we do hope to have up by Mid to End of October. This site will be the best site yet with graphics as our primary focus with less text to have a more modern world design.

Smart Cell Phone Shopping Starring the Galaxy Note (A Galaxy Note Review) (A Best Buy Review)

It was the most amazing coincidence in my cell phone buying history. A few weeks ago I cracked my screen on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Yes nerds, I said the S4 which I tell you is still a very capable phone. But this isn't a review on the S4 so I continue with my story. When I cracked my phone I went online (I am a Verizon subscriber) and found out my upgrade date is 8-19-2016. Alright I can deal with the cracks in the phone for a few more weeks then I'll upgrade, not a big deal. As the magical day approaches I realize this is also the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, amazing!
Now most reviews are day of, they are un-boxing but you can find those anywhere on the internet. They are not special and very boring. What I want to give you is the "normal" mans experience so I decided to wait until the end of the weekend to place my review. It is only fair. How can I review something that hasn't gone through my day to day operations.
So he we are on the big day. I come home from work and head to my nearest Best Buy. Screw going to the Verizon store, you leave that place walking funny and they never even tell you your pretty. Buying a phone at the Verizon store is about as fun as buying a car, I would rather , well you get the point, it sucks. To beat my Verizon Store worries I used to go online but of course to receive it the same day it has to be "site to store" then we are back at square one, would you like a coverage plan, a Bluetooth some extra 4G's and maybe a Wifi for good luck? NO! So now I got to Best Buy, they treat you good and they tend to have some deals hiding around, so this is where it gets really exciting. Hang on to your chairs, your about to go for a wild ride.
I get in and I can't believe it, I am third in line on a major phones launch day, sweet. I'm waiting in line when of the friendly associates greet me. Are you here for a new phone. "Damn right!" I proudly exclaim. The associate tells me that is wonderful and takes me to a table for signing up, oh ya there is a 2 hour wait. Ah well its all good I'm in Best Buy I can walk around for hours. After playing the demo of the Samsung VR for the 4th time, that shark is too cool, I hear my name called. I take my rightful seat in front of the computer and Mike, the friendly associate. "What phone are you here for today", Mike asks as if he didn't already assume. He already sold countless Note 7's today. "I'm going to take the Note 5 today please". That simple sentence sent shock waves through the store. I assured him I was sure, and that I realize that it is last years model.
My reasons for the Note 5 over the 7 is common sense. Again this is the "normal" man's review. If I had unlimited resources, sure I would prefer the Note 7. But in reality there is not that much of a difference. The phones are so similar in fact the only reason I actually would want the 7 is for the extra memory card you can install. But that doesn't even matter these days with the Note 5 having a 64 GB edition (which is what I chose) and all the cloud storage you could ever want. The 7 has a slightly better processor of course, which is not noticeable, and a slightly better battery. Oh but how could I forget the new retina scanner, what a load of garbage. If you have such top secret stuff on your phone that you need a retina scanner you might need to rethink a few of your life choices.
I talked about price being a factor in my decision. I also brought up the deals that Best Buy often have in their mobile department. With the purchase of a Note 7, you could receive a Galaxy Gear, or a memory card. Meh. That deal was also online so it didn't catch me by surprise. But what did get me was a sign I saw while waiting. $250 Best Buy gift certificate with the purchase of a Note 5. That is amazing. The 7 gave you the chance to have a fancy pedometer or a memory card, with the purchase of my Note 5 I received the following: My tax on the phone was paid for (which has to be paid up front on payment plans), a free Otter Box Defender, and a 32 inch Smart TV which happened to be on sale and all was covered under the gift card. I am the big winner here. There is always a deal, you just have to find it. Needless to say I had an amazing phone buying experience at Best Buy. (I assure you this is not a paid ad, just have to give credit where credit is due.)
Now for an actual review of the phone. You can get all the specs and garbage on any other site, but I am going to tell you what really matters. This phone is a beast. I cant talk about the first night, Friday to much as unfortunately the phone did not come with a full charge. This review starts 8:00am Saturday morning after receiving a full charge. I start every morning listening to Tune-In radio and from then the phone almost never stops running. I am either listening to pod casts, Pandora, or Spotify, literally non stop. The music did have to stop to do a few of the software upgrades for the phone including marshmallow operating system. There was a 3 hour Pokemon Go session followed by more tunes and an hour or so of YouTube. It was pretty much a normal nerdy day. At the end of the night i still had about 35% battery. I couldn't believe it. I went to bed and forgot to charge it. Sunday I play another hour of Pokemon and listen to some pod casts. Finally around 2:00pm I receive the low battery warning and decide to plug in my phone. I beat it up pretty good and can't believe how responsive it is and the life of the battery. I did not use any of the battery saving features, haven't figured out how to use them yet. It was an amazing first weekend with my Note 5. One of the best things is the Samsung screen recording program in the game launcher app, so good, so fast, what a great phone.

Adobe Muse - How To Organize Web Structure

Adobe Muse Tutorial

First of all, this is a triple header from me for posts. Tomorrow, is going to be a slow day. I will have a software review by this weekend or early next week. I want to do a more regular posts to this blog.  By doing that, I like to have your support in growing this blog. I like to know what your thoughts are on our services, our site, and more. So in my next blog is just a few things you can do to help us out. If you like what you see, please subscribe to Our You Tube Channel and this Blog.

Let me show you a tip so you don't make the same mistake as I did in creating a responsive web design using Adobe Muse CC. I am learning the Adobe Muse CC by online forums, videos, and other content. When me creating the website body, I didn't use what in HTML Coding is called DIV Tags or Containers to organize the content in a way that would allow to keep thing in line similar to a table and its cells do. Tables are not used as much anymore and are becoming out dated. But generally in web design a DIV is the standard with CSS and other HTML Mark Ups.

In the video I will show you some tips on better organization of your content on your website using Adobe Muse CC 2016.

Hello My Name Is SilentJay and I'm a ...

We have a new member to the Best PCs team. Let me be the first to welcome me to the team. I call myself SilentJay, ya that's right I'm a grown man still using a net handle. I feel the net handle is just this generations pen name. Who gave Mark Twain and Stan Lee crap for their name? That's right no one. (Did he just compare himself to Mark Twain and Stan Lee?)(Yes I did.)
I am a youtuber with a subscription base in the 20's and a Podcaster with a base of at least 10. So when the opportunity to add blogger to my impressive resume arose, well how could I say no.
What I plan to bring to the team (all two of us) is unique perspective on, well, everything. In the invitation i was asked to review any of a wide range of technology based categories. However what you will not read from me is what is hot and new. My expertise is hitting the inner nostalgia button we all have. While the boss will bring to you a take on the newest Windows, I might talk about my first text adventure DOS game. Why is it important to relive the past, well to understand the future of course.
I can't wait to jump in with my news, views, and reviews. See ya soon.

New Features with Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 Build 1607

In this video we share tips and tricks with the all new Microsoft Edge Web Browser. I was not a big fan of this app and still preferred Internet Explorer. But Microsoft Edge has won me over with the new features. Though some websites like this the www.blogger.com isn't supported yet for adding new posts and content to my blog. Give it time as it is an issue for Google to figure out and or rebuild a new User Interface For the Blogger Site.

Next Video we plan on doing is a simple Tutorial that I had found hard to find for web design tutorial. This web design tutorial is nothing that you have seen before and will contain Designing Your Looks using Adobe Photo Shop and Adobe Dreamweaver. But, first I am doing a tutorial on Signs of a Virus Infested Computer and where to seek professional help. This tutorial is going to be a good one as I plan on using it as an advertisement for our services and will share little bit on self help on Virus Removal.
